The Boat Diving specialty covers boat briefings, equipment preparation, giant stride and back roll entries, exits in different conditions, mooring protocols, and finding your way back to the boat underwater. Two training dives from an actual dive boat. On Bonaire most diving is shore-based. This specialty prepares you for what comes after.
Most people who get certified at home spend their first real dive trip adjusting. Different visibility, colder water, unfamiliar conditions. On Bonaire, your training dives happen on the same reef you'll dive independently afterward. You get certified and comfortable in one trip. Nothing to re-learn the next time you come back.
