“I started my search for a high quality dive shop in Bonaire about 2 weeks before our abc cruise. After several inquiries with many dive shops I kept coming back to wanderlust. Their communication was highly detailed and professional. They met me at the port at the exact time the ship scheduled us to get off at Bonaire. We then went back to their shop went over our dive equipment in detail. Once that was complete Stephan took me to two absolutely amazing dive sights. “Our family just returned from Bonaire, and we can confidently say we are now hooked on scuba diving! Wanderlust made our first ocean dive absolutely unforgettable. I was particularly nervous about completing the SSI open water tests after some tough pool dive experiences and Stephan made me feel so comfortable and helped give me the confidence by taking each step and test at a time to make sure we knew exactly what we were doing. Even in the first email reach outs he was super helpful and set everything up for us and chose amazing spots for our comfort level. “We have been diving in Bonaire a few times a year for the past several years. Wanderlust has been our go to dive shop on the island providing everything from gear rental, tanks, and the best guided dives we have ever received. Unlike most dive shops who treat you like just another number, Stephan and Linda provide a personal touch which makes you feel valued and important. They select appropriate dive sites based off the experience of the group and provide a level of professional which makes even the most inexperienced diver feel safe when diving with their shop. If you are looking for a shop which provides that top level of service you should definitely choose Wanderlust for your next trip. Their gear is well maintained and their guides and instructors are extremely professional. On our most recent trip Stephan trained my 77 year old Father in Law on the Horizon SCR providing him with the knowledge needed to dive the Oriskany in Florida - a vessel he had served on and a bucket list dive which he would have been unable to do without the assistance of the semi closed rebreather. If you are looking to extend your time in water but find the gas consumption is your limited then taking the Horizon class with Stephan is not only recommended but affordable long term. His instruction is safe and comprehensive. He has a patience which is rare to find amongst the dive professional community. I will continue to rely on Wanderlust as my preferred dive shop when traveling to Bonaire.”
