Flamingo International Airport (BON). Direct flights from the US, Canada, the Netherlands, and the Caribbean. No visa needed for most nationalities.
Miami (American Airlines, multiple days per week), Atlanta (Delta, seasonal from December), Newark (United, from November), Houston (United, Saturdays), and New York JFK (JetBlue, seasonal). Flight time is about four hours.
KLM flies direct from Amsterdam Schiphol year-round, with extra frequencies in high season. TUI operates direct flights on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Corendon runs seasonal Wednesday departures. About nine hours.
WestJet flies from Toronto (seasonal, Tuesdays from December).
Curacao is a 35-minute hop. Divi Divi Air and Z Air operate daily. Winair connects through Sint Maarten. SKYhigh from Santo Domingo (seasonal).
You need a pickup truck for shore diving. Every rental company on the island has them. A standard pickup runs $60 to $100 per day depending on the season and company.
Book before you fly. High season (December through April) trucks sell out weeks ahead. A sedan will not work: you need the bed for tanks.
Major rental companies at the airport: AB Car Rental, Budget, Flamingo Car Rental. Most offer airport pickup. Some deliver to your accommodation.
Flamingo Airport is five minutes from Kralendijk. Our shop at Kaya Perenales 3 is ten minutes from the airport. Most accommodation is within fifteen minutes.
