You start with digital coursework at the pace you set.
Then a confined water session at the shop: unit setup, pre-dive checks, buoyancy on the rebreather, bailout drills. Everything until the procedures feel automatic. Then four open water dives on the leeward coast. Each one builds on the last. Orientation, skills, gas management, and by the final dive you are building your own dive plan and picking your own site. Minimum 300 minutes of in-water time across the course. You surface certified to 30 meters, no decompression, on the Mares Horizon. One of fewer than a thousand SSI SCR Divers worldwide.
Most people who get certified at home spend their first real dive trip adjusting. Different visibility, colder water, unfamiliar conditions. On Bonaire, your training dives happen on the same reef you'll dive independently afterward. You get certified and comfortable in one trip. Nothing to re-learn the next time you come back.

Wanderlust is run by Stephan and Linda. Not a franchise, not a large operation with rotating staff. The person who greets you on day one takes you into the water. Same face, start to finish.
Groups cap at four. Often smaller. Sometimes it is just you and an instructor. Your certification is processed the same day you complete your final training dive.
