Ostracods are tiny crustaceans, one to two millimeters.
On specific nights in shallow water, they produce short bursts of blue bioluminescent light in patterns you will not see anywhere else in the ocean. The display happens three to five days after the full moon, when conditions align. It is not guaranteed. We schedule this dive on the nights most likely to produce a display. Complete gear included, dive light rental available at the dive center.
Most guided dives elsewhere put you in a group of eight, following a divemaster you'll never see again. On Bonaire, Stephan or Linda picks the site that morning based on conditions, guides you personally, and keeps the group to four. Local knowledge, not a scripted route.
BCD, regulator, wetsuit, fins, boots, mask, snorkel, computer. All packed and ready when you arrive. You show up, check in, and get in the water. Nothing to rent, nothing to borrow, nothing to forget.

Wanderlust is run by Stephan and Linda. Not a franchise, not a large operation with rotating staff. The person who briefs you is the person in the water with you. Same face, start to finish.
Groups cap at four. Often smaller. Site conditions are checked at sunrise, before you even wake up, so the plan is already set by the time you arrive at the shop.
