A very specific kind of night dive: the brief bioluminescent display that happens on certain nights after sunset.
Ostracods are tiny crustaceans that produce bioluminescent flashes during their mating rituals: brief, blue-white light shows that happen in the water column on certain nights.
This isn't guaranteed on every dive: the display depends on the lunar cycle and conditions. When it happens, it's one of the more memorable things you can see underwater. Guided night dive format, shore entry, small group. We monitor conditions and schedule this when it's most likely to produce.
Most guided dives elsewhere put you in a group of eight, following a divemaster you'll never see again. On Bonaire, Stephan or Linda picks the site that morning based on conditions, guides you personally, and keeps the group to four. Local knowledge, not a scripted route.

Groups cap at four. Often smaller. Site conditions are checked at sunrise, before you even wake up, so the plan is already set by the time you arrive at the shop.
Every guided dive is planned by Stephan or Linda personally — the same people who run Bonaire's only SSI Instructor Training Center.
