Science of Diving covers what's actually happening when you dive: gas laws under pressure, buoyancy physics, how your body responds to depth, and the mechanics behind your equipment.
This is a theory-heavy course with no training dives. It's intellectually demanding and interesting for divers who want to understand rather than just follow rules. Required for Divemaster training. This is usually the course where DM candidates realize how much they didn't know about what they've been doing.
Most people who get certified at home spend their first real dive trip adjusting. Different visibility, colder water, unfamiliar conditions. On Bonaire, your training dives happen on the same reef you'll dive independently afterward. You get certified and comfortable in one trip. Nothing to re-learn the next time you come back.

Groups cap at four. Often smaller. Sometimes it is just you and an instructor. Your certification is processed the same day you complete your final training dive.
