Liability Waiver

This Liability Waiver applies to all activities offered by Wanderlust Dive Center B.V., including scuba diving, snorkeling, training courses, guided dives, equipment rental and other related services. By signing this document, the participant confirms full and voluntary acceptance of all terms and conditions outlined below.

You can complete and sign this waiver online before you arrive at /waiver.

1. Medical Fitness

The participant confirms that he/she is medically fit to take part in scuba diving and snorkeling activities.

Certified SSI divers complete the SSI digital medical statement prior to participation.

All other participants must complete and sign the medical questionnaire on site.

The participant confirms that no medical conditions are withheld and agrees to immediately report any changes in health status to Wanderlust Dive Center.

2. Risks Associated with Diving and Snorkeling

The participant acknowledges that scuba diving and snorkeling involve inherent risks, including but not limited to:

• Decompression sickness
• Barotrauma
• Injuries caused by currents, waves or reduced visibility
• Interaction with marine life
• Equipment malfunction or failure
• Fatigue, disorientation and panic
• Unpredictable underwater conditions

The participant understands that these risks cannot be completely eliminated, even under professional supervision.

This waiver also applies to snorkeling participants.

3. Liability of Wanderlust Dive Center

Wanderlust Dive Center is not liable for injury, damage or death resulting from the participant's failure to follow safety instructions or established procedures.

Wanderlust Dive Center is not liable for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings.

Wanderlust Dive Center is not liable for incidents caused by other divers within the same group.

The liability of Wanderlust Dive Center is always limited to the amount covered by its applicable liability insurance.

4. Responsibilities of the Participant

The participant declares and agrees that:

• All instructions from guides, instructors and staff will be followed at all times.
• The participant accepts responsibility for his/her own dive planning within established limits and within his/her certification level.
• A valid certification card must be presented for activities requiring certification.
• The participant has a valid dive or travel insurance policy that covers diving activities.
• Personal equipment is checked for correct function before use and is used responsibly.
• No alcohol, drugs or substances affecting alertness have been consumed before the activity.

5. Gas Fills, Tanks and Equipment

The participant declares that:

• He/she is responsible for checking cylinder pressure upon receipt.
• For Nitrox or other gas mixtures, the participant is responsible for analyzing the gas mix independently and recording the correct values.
• When using personal equipment, the participant confirms that the equipment is in good working condition and suitable for the activity.
• Damage caused to rented equipment due to improper use will be charged to the participant.

6. Photo and Video Consent

The participant grants Wanderlust Dive Center permission to use photos and videos taken during activities for social media, marketing and communication purposes, unless the participant explicitly states otherwise beforehand.

7. Minors

Minors may only participate with written consent from a parent or legal guardian.

A separate signature from the parent/guardian is required.

The parent or guardian accepts full responsibility for the minor during all activities.

8. Voluntary Participation and Acceptance of Terms

The participant declares that he/she:

• Signs this document voluntarily and without pressure.
• Has read and fully understands the content of this waiver.
• Accepts all risks and conditions described herein.
• Releases Wanderlust Dive Center from any claims arising from participation in its activities.

9. Language

This waiver is available in both Dutch and English. In the event of differences in interpretation, the English version is legally binding.

10. Signature

This waiver may be signed digitally, on paper, or through any approved system used by Wanderlust Dive Center. The waiver becomes effective immediately upon signing.
